Shared-ride accessible transportation

Rocky View Regional Handibus provides transportation for riders who are unable to use regular transit facilities with safety and dignity.

Office and booking hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Service operates 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, except holidays.

Book a ride

Have your travel date, pickup address, destination, return pickup time, mobility aid information, and destination contact number ready.

All riders should register before using the handibus. Some riders may be asked for medical certification.

One attendant may travel at no cost when assistance is required. Please mention attendants or companions when booking.

Who can ride?

Any person who is unable to use regular transit facilities with safety and/or dignity is eligible for transportation on the handibus.

Trips are provided on a shared-ride basis for community supports, medical appointments, local errands, and specialist appointments in Calgary.

How the service works

Complete the passenger registration form and return it by email, fax, or mail.

Phone the booking office with your trip details, mobility aid needs, and return time.

Drivers provide shared-ride accessible transportation using vehicles adapted for rider needs.
